Description:
|
Privately owned regional firm looking to add a Jr. Actuarial Analyst to their growing staff. Candidates should be skilled with: reconciling data and assets; running valuation software; calculating contribution requirements; preparing reports; performing FAS 158, FAS 106 and GASB45 calculations; calculating pension plan benefits and optional forms of payments; corresponding with clients on data issues; completing 5500 filings; and calculating PBGC premiums, calculating liabilities and checking test lives, performing funding and financial accounting calculations, preparing actuarial reports and interpreting plan documents. Looking for 2 to 5 years of pension related, actuarial analyst experience. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong computer and software related skills with the ability to learn valuation software quickly. Need to be able to hit the ground running. Candidates both with and without actuarial exams and/or designations will be considered.
