Description:

Insurance company in the Southern US has a need for a bilingual (English and Spanish) speaking Entry Level Actuary. The incumbent will be working in the valuation department and will be performing assignments related to valuation, financial reporting, cash flow testing and working closely with other members of the product development department. The incumbent will likely be getting exposure to individual life and health insurance in the domestic, offshore, and Latin American markets. There will be frequent interaction with Latin American affiliates regarding the actuarial work. There is an expectation to continuously expand actuarial knowledge via work assignments and passing the SOA examinations. Candidates should have 1 SOA passed, a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business, or Actuarial Science preferred, excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must be Bilingual in Spanish and English.
